A monument of religion, culture and history of the city, an architectural gem of Nova Gradiška, a recognizable symbol in the view of the city, petrified music, as the church is called by artists. The construction of the single-nave, late Baroque church of St. Teresa with a unique baroque tower in the shape of a pyramid of drawn edges, made of cement formwork, began in 1754, and was completely completed in 1765, when the Roman Catholic parish was founded.
According to its architectural characteristics, the church belongs to the significant monuments of sacral architecture of the late Baroque in Slavonia, and is historically the oldest and most valuable Baroque building in the city, located in the middle of the village on the main town square.
